Welcome to New York's hottest new night spot, where wannabe vampires mix and mingle (unknowingly, of course) with the real thing. Kine and Kindred both come here-the kine to play and the Kindred to prey.
Val is Kindred, searching the downtown scene for thrills. Mariana is also Kindred, an artist whose talent is dying even as her body enjoys immortality.
They meet at the Blood Club, and a spark is struck between them. What they don't know is that their meeting was arranged; and that they are playing out a Destiny that reaches back to the war against the Nazis, and forward to the apocalyptic struggle against the Beast itself... |
